Finding a Multimedia Element in Multimedia Albums

This procedure describes how to find a multimedia element in the multimedia albums.

What You Need

   Access to the MMBox, as described in MMBox Access

 How

1    Click Album.

The Public Album page appears showing all media types in the album. The Public Root folder is selected by default (see Figure: Multimedia Public Album Page).

2    On the menu bar, click Search.

The Search page appears (Figure: Multimedia Album Search Page).

3    In the Name field, do one of the following:

Do not use wildcards or special characters when typing the name.

   Type a part of the name of the multimedia element you want to find.

   Type the full name, including the file extension, of the multimedia element you want to find.

   Type the extension of the file type. For example, to locate all items in GIF format, type .gif.

4    From the Type dropdown list, select the media type of the multimedia element.

5    From the Look in dropdown list, select the album or albums in which to search.

6    To start the search, click Search.

The search results are displayed, with the total number of multimedia elements that matched the search criteria (Figure: Multimedia Album Search Results Page).
